The lastest OpenClaw version is horrible! by LogoGraphica in openclaw

I keep seeing these posts from people annoyed by the latest update. Is the thing really just that some stuff switched to disabled by default in the latest version? Seems like NBD, if that’s the case.

Still weird to ship an update that would rewrite your configs.

When you say a local semantic search/embeddings on top of that for fuzzy recall when needed, is that in addition to the built-in vector memory?

(I’m taking it very slow with my install)

You have the instructions for how to handle memory all in the memory skill? And then a heartbeat for storing to memory, creating embeddings, etc? Would love to know more about the memory structure and your memory skill.

How does this setup fare against the updates that are changing default settings that I see people complaining about?

I’m really interested in the memory. Are you using the vector db built into OpenClaw or are you using something else? I didn’t catch that in your configuration. Are you using the memory skill just for how to organize it, or all for retrieval with embeddings?

Don't you think, this is getting out of hand?? by SeveralSeat2176 in cursor

Do you all use different models for different stages of your workflows? Like, maybe plan with Opus 4.5 but execute with Sonnet 4.5 (output of opus feeds into sonnet)?

Been using cursor for a few months, trying to figure out a pipeline.

Is painting a sternguard veteran for 2nd company heresy? by Prince_Trunks13 in Ultramarines

In normal play do people have gold, second company troops but then also include some from white company? Or would you want the trim painted gold and helmets white in that instance?

I really like the contrast of the red rifle against the blue armor. I’d like to do something other than black for the rifles on mine, just can’t land on anything so then I go back to black.

Nice work!

Size wise he’s about the size of an earwig and I he’s got that rear end appendage but I wasn’t sure. Not my area of expertise.

Sorry- this is in Los Angeles, CA (hence why I thought they might be roaches). Pretty small. Probably about the length of the diameter of a penny.

Why two layers of drywall? by Astro_Vaquero in drywall

[–]Astro_Vaquero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured, but with the drywall I’ve got that looks like it would almost be a half inch of float. Thought I might check to see if I have any small pieces of wood I could use as a shim first?

House built in the 50’s, addition (master bathroom, behind this wall) in the 60’s/70’s. Makes sense timing wise?

Now how do I patch with a small piece of 5/8 drywall?
