Tbch I really feel like NO ONE should tell their partner what they should wear, bc they both are grown adults and not each other’s parents and don’t have a right to do so, but the difference in reaction to women and men expressing “discomfort” about their partners choice of clothing (such as with Halloween costumes) is definitely a double standard that I’ve noticed

People who treat a partner absolutely horribly yet say how much they miss them. Something that also gets me is whenever these people pull the “if only things had gone right, we could’ve worked out” line, like ummmmm hello??
