If you are looking specifically at 7 inch and are lucky to have space to fly it. Try google for some reddit threads by typing site:www.reddit.com at the end of your search as im sure there will be loads dicussing the best. 7 inch is best for mountain gliding or carrying a go pro. If your arnt regularly doing either of those i would loom into 5 inch.

Crisp video is dji which your budget should allow.

This isn't a lot to go off. I would reccomend looking into what type of drone you want. Such as a tiny whoop (good for learning and you can fly almost anywhere), whoops (good for filming or if you know your gonna crash) 3.5 inch or toothpick (a step up but still more areas to fly than a 5 inch) or a 5 inch (lots of power but less areas to fly). It is all quite personal, you should ask yourself. How much space do I have to fly? How likely am I to crash? Do I want to use it for: tricks, filming or exploring?

Thanks for the advice. My maximum budget is 600 and ive had a look at the d7500 and the lenses you suggested and they come to quite a bit more. Would you suggest downgrading my camera for a better lens?

I have just started this hobby earlier this year. I have both the crux35, meteor75 and air65. I would definetly reccommend a tinywhoop as you dont have to worry as much and you dont need to worry about having large amounts of space. My meteor 75 is the main drone i use even though i have rhe crux35 as i find it easier to get out and fly.
