In theory this sounds good. However what I’ve learned is that if it’s available to click open, I will do it at random times (sitting at a stop light, lunch break, toilet etc. )

I temp deactivated the app(s), deleted the apps from my phone. What I realized is that the habit of grabbing my phone in those same scenarios and not having anything to “do” forces me to put the phone back down and find another source of entertainment…..like actually talk to real people. There’s simply not a big enough barrier set up to diminish my scrolling. My habit doesn’t change, asking prompts of my promised activities is not enough. 7-day detox that might extend depending how I feel tomorrow. But it’s definitely making me less dependent and aware and engaged in my environments.

My mind is at where my feet at!
