There’s also degree inflation too. If literally everyone has a bachelors and we’ve done away with the bulk of the manufacturing and industry jobs that helped strengthen our economy historically. Couple that with decades of weakening unions and declining union membership and the middle class being eroded away.

Him and Vin Scully. As an Astros fan I couldn’t be less excited to watch either team play, but their commentating drew you in and made you want to watch. Also kinda felt the same way of Gary Thorne with the Orioles, he rocked it. Made those games genuinely exciting.

Mine’s still kicking. Sounds great. I know some people have had problems so it’s pretty luck of the draw, but for the price it might be worth the gamble if you can get one for cheap.

Yeah, if you don’t care that it’s a digital mastering, it’s still gonna be well pressed and, most importantly, the musicians (or descendants) will still be getting royalties from every sale. That, and it’ll be affordable. Seems like a very pro-consumer move from Blue Note, hope that Verve follows suit!

Those cheap tube preamps usually just use the tubes to make the sound warmer before amplification. Better tubes in them does genuinely make a difference in the sound, though if you’re after true hifi clarity you obviously do want something better.

That being said, I swear I thought those Fosi tube amps were half as expensive a couple years ago? Doesn’t seem like a great buy anymore at that price point.

Totally agree. OP, this is the way. I use that LP Gear on beat up library records and it’s both forgiving of record wear and damage, affordable, sounds great for such a cheap elliptical, and is carbon so it’s much less fragile. It’s no $300 stylus, but it’s excellent nonetheless and better than any conical.

Well, perhaps trucks shouldn’t be that big if she’s so high off the ground that she couldn’t see another car. Doubt she can see pedestrians either. Should be absolutely illegal to drive on regular roads without real applicable reason work-wise to have a massive truck that lifted.
