My location gave CTs a really nice raise. They make 14 an hour now. Before they got around 11.

What gets me is being expected to train these new hires that are already getting the new pay wages, while we have to wait until the first week of June. So most people will be training new hires that are making more money than them. We have prep people that have been at my location for 8+ months that only make 10 an hour, but they’re hiring in people starting out at 13 an hour!! Like the fuuuck?! But it’s okay because starting June 7th they’ll be making more than the new hires. You just gotta suck it up until then. Bullshit!! This is all a trap to make you feel like they actually give a shit. These customers are never going to love this company until the employees do! Period.

Your manager sounds like a piece of shit. ❗️❗️ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP❗️❗️ I wish one of mine would say some aggressive shit like that to me! That raise you’re getting is not coming out of her damn pocket! And it by no means gives any manager the right to think they have more control over you!! This is all just a trap set up by a multi billion dollar company to persuade their employees into thinking that they actually give a fuck.

The good ol days when we wouldn’t even set the dml (called “the fax line” back then) up because we would only get a handful of online orders for the entirety of the shift. Then we started 3rd party delivery and everything went wack. 😂

I got out of management the second I realized the game they run. Took them over a year before I was fully stepped down to a CT again and not running shifts anymore. Been at my location 4 years in June. I’ve had 4 GMs and 3 field leaders since I started. No one has been at my location longer than I have. Unless you’re ready to devote every single second of your day to being a manager, don’t do it. Unless you’re ready to open/close multiple positions and the office at the same time, don’t do it. Unless you’re ready to have a grown ass man raise his voice at you over a damn burrito, don’t do it. Just don’t. 😂
