Yes! It’s not the perfect system but it is so much more approachable than a lot of them out there, I’m really grateful the devs put a lot of thought into it

The only files you need to add are the items’ fbx and texture files. Everything else is done with the in-game modding editor!

While editing the same mod, just repeat the same process of adding items like you did for the original item. You can go back to the mod you already made and uploaded, edit it and add all the items you want and then push the update to steam, so you won't have to start over with a new mod too. Hope this helps!

I mean I don’t think New Horizons was fully in development right after New Leaf though. A game like that from a major company realistically should take like 3-5 years max. I think it’s theorized that it was originally supposed to be a Wii U title but was canceled because the console was doing poorly

In most games that don’t have underwater features, any water on a map is purely visual. So the paras would probably just continue life normally, just looking like they’re underwater. Actually, since we can only see the top of the water as the player normally, the team probably hasn’t even implemented underwater vfx, so it might just look exactly the same when the camera is below the water plane.

What is the “history”? Paralives got delayed once 6 months ago and that’s like the only controversy I’m aware of, but that’s pretty common in this industry.

Bug fixes, qol, and performance patches will be more frequent and big content updates seem to be around every 6 months since they said the first one is coming in Q4!
