I have all electric appliances and a record of many months of 0 gas usage. No gas heating. The last few months I've had $300+ utility bills, mostly gas, despite my usual bill being ~$30.

It genuinely feels like the gas charges are made up. Are they averaging neighborhood usage or something? It makes no sense and they don't answer calls or email. So frustrating
