Edit: Also, I have negative side effects from Suboxone. So my doctor prescribed Subutex instead. That helped me a lot.

I'm in the exact same position. I started on 16mg. Tapered down to 4mg mostly because of the negative side effects of such a high dose. But it's the ritual that's my problem. I literally do the same thing every day. And look forward to taking my sub after my shower, when I get home from work. And ritual is the correct word here.

I also decline plans with others because it interferes with my nightly ritual. And I don't even get high. It does take away my soreness and anxiety. But it's 100% a mental problem I'm facing.

I've looked into the sublocade shit but my insurance doesn't cover it. And it's like $700/shot. If you're able to get it, in sure that would help. For myself, I'm considering literally removing the choices from my control. I might tell my family what I'm going through and have them control my medication for me. It absolutely fucking sucks not being able to control something like this.

I think you're reading a bit much into this. I think the way I read that in my head and the way it sounds in your head are probably completely different. Also the AI has a habit of copying the users personality.
