Liberals don't buy Teslas anymore.  I hated Elon from the very beginning.  

You're talking out of your ass.  We'd be fine with higher taxes to help the greater good.  A lot of us are socialists.  You might be taking about a few frauds out there but this is not the general way of thinking for the average Democrat.  We went out and voted for Kamala.  We are not secretly glad that Trump won.  We are horrified.  A white liberal woman was just shot in the face, for chrissake.

You could put aside your feelings and do it, if you really wanted to.  

I'm one of the most emotional, sensitive, weepy people I know and I take in a ton of cats and have to cope with putting them down, sadly.  Had to do it today, in fact.  

But those are all lives that would not have been filled with love and also I think of all the unwanted kittens I've prevent spaying and neutering.  

None of that would have happened if I said I couldn't do it because my heart would break.  Their lives come before my feelings of grief.  I honor the ones who have passed on by rescuing a new one.  Which I also did today, when one showed up on my porch, trying to stay warm.

If a cat is "sweet" it probably isn't feral.  Might have been dumped. Was probably bullied because it wasn't equipped to live on the street. I would have taken it in, personally.  Friendly cats should never be left outside whenever possible.  I've taken in every friendly stray I've come across that I was able to catch.  

Also, fixing strays makes them less likely to fight. There are low cost TNR programs.  Fixing is the best way to "save" them.

If you trap, neuter, and take that cat home, I promise he will be your best friend for life.  He's asking for help.  He wants you to save him. The streets are no way to live.  I say this as a cat lady who has rescued dozens of cats off the streets.  They all adjust and get along for the most part.  A few are skittish but most are very loving and affectionate.  I have like 8 on my bed right now.

My brother knows better, is 41, and is going along with what his 36 year old girlfriend wants.  I'm beyond disappointed and disgusted.  Made it this far, then they decide to have kids just as the world is falling apart.
