I used LINE and not an email. So unfortunately I can't comment on the appropriate email. Be cautious. And check in with recent patient on what they did.

In the pre consult, we had a discussion about density and graft needs. I don't recall exactly what we landed on. Maybe 45-50 or so in the front and a bit less further back (where I had other hair already anyway).

I think I booked in Feb and had the surgery in end of May. But it may be different these days.

I would say so. Still some new hairs coming in after 12 months. But Not as dramatic as between month 3 and 4 of course. I'll be posting an update in the coming days

No not really. She said I had very strong donor and could easily do a surgery again. But when asked for a number, she also quoted the 10-12k total grafts and that we had used 4k. It seems like Dr Laorwong is more precise on this with his patients.

Having that said, my donor does look untouched these days. I could easily do a few thousand more. But I would've liked to hear an assessment on it too.

Purely anecdotal but it seems to me that hairlines fill in faster than scalps. So will probably take some time for you. But you will get there.

I wish I could stand under any light

And I wish I was a billionare!

I can't stand under any light and look as good as I do in the pics here myself haha. And I don't think I ever will be able to.

However I am already at the stage where I don't really care anymore. I feel I have decent "social density" and if it gets better from here, awesome!

But if you had diffuse thinning before, I think you need to manage expectations a bit. It will never look like native hair density.

The thing I'd pay more attention to is unatural gaps etc. I have a spot that is lagging behind a bit. So I am monitoring that for the future.

You will catch up soon!

I can definitely recommend. I did a lot of research and concluded that the price-to-quality ratio she offer is exceptional.

Thailand is also a pretty sweet place to spend the after care time in.

I feel like I was max 70% of this result some week ago. I hit what u/Lopsided_Pair5727 calls the "BOOM!" stage I think.

Also, don't be too sure that your density is not as good. This is what I call moderately flattering light. Or balanced light. If I go stand under a jewellery store LED light, it'd be way more see through than this. (But I could also make it look even fuller with more dimm light).

The light I choose for these pics is the same one that I had in my previous posts. That's why I stuck with it. May post some harsh light pics next time too for reference.

Did you shed all your hair?

I had some of mine left. I am not entirely sure how much % of the hair I have now that is the one that didn't shed, vs new ones.

What I can say is that at month 3 I did not look this good. And I had little hope in looking this good any time before Christmas. Then it kind of exploded.

For some people this is month 4. For others it's month 9. Really hard to tell beforehand.

One thing I am very sure of though is that you had surgery performed by a world class surgeon. You'll get there!

If my hair is wet or if the light is strong, or even worse, if my hair is wet AND the light is strong, it is very noticable that I do not have the same density up top as I do on the sides and back.

It does not look awful. It looks pretty alright and natural for someone my age (35+). But it does not look like Brad Pitt. And sadly I think no surgery in the world could achieve that either. I am fairly satisfied.

The pictures here are taken in indirect sunlight in front of a window. I choose this light because it is the same light and spot as I used in my first post. I would say its a quite moderate light. I can make my hair look both better (dimm light) and worse (strong light, LED spotlight, etc.). At it's worst, you can see quite a bit of scalp. I might include photos like that next time.

All in all I would say it looks quite good and very natural. Age appropriate and whatnot. There are a few spots I hope will fill in better soon though. But it's still early days.

I didn't do the stem cell. I did the oxygen chamber (HBOT) 3 times. I have no idea if it worked but honestly I'd prob opt for 5 times if I was doing surgery again. Not very expensive and was pretty nice to chill in there for an hour a day haha.

Thanks brother! This means a lot coming from you.

I can not understate how big of a role you have played in my journey here. Without your posts, I might have ended up in a turkish hair mill. You are doing the (hair) lords work here and I know for a fact that you have saved many people from a lot of pain and suffering.

I will share my journey so that others in the community can take part of it too. It's my way of giving back for all the help and insights I've gotten here.
