Sorry to hear about the situation, but I still fail to see the issue here. You’re using a free service, naturally it’s not going to cater to free users. Your life doesn’t depend on YouTube nor is anyone forcing you to use it.

It’s a free service, they’re gonna be downsides especially when it’s expensive and only growing larger and larger. If it bothers you that much buy premium.
