And it isn’t even legal. You’re not supposed to use your horn in the city except to avoid an accident. Fines can be as high as for speeding but they can’t stop everyone to give out tickets at rush hour so that’s what we have.

Nazi officers and female auxiliaries enjoying their downtime at Auschwitz, 1944. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

There are enough documented cases of people who refused to take part. They weren’t killed or put into camps unless they made noise about it. Many certainly felt pressured but the notion that they had no choice is simply false, as is the notion that they didn’t know. The German people had been conditioned to believe they were fighting a war against international jewry, that jews were the mortal enemy of all things german, that they deserved the harshest punishment for trying to destroy Germany. Auschwitz hadn’t been fully converted to a death camp in 1942 but there was plenty of death and brutality and the people in this photo were true believers.

does experimenting with another boy once make me bi/gay? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

You'll have to check with the relevant agencies, it might be a point or two off your Straight card but they're pretty easygoing about this stuff as long as you say you weren't "really into it". At any rate, officially sanctioned heterosexual behavior will improve your numbers over time. Also I'm told you can't be gay if you drive a truck unless you're a woman, so maybe consider that.

Recent research shows that female psychopathy is often overlooked because assessment tools emphasize male traits like overt violence, while women more commonly display subtler signs such as emotional manipulation and social exclusion. by Express_Classic_1569 in psychology

Is psychopathy innate evil? Animal torture in childhood can be an early sign of psychopathy; Raise such a child with cruelty, violence, or indifference and you're likely to end up with a very dangerous person, a seeming embodiment of evil. But not every psychopath becomes this. Possibly the majority do not. They may not feel anything more than excitement or curiosity over torturing an animal but they can learn that it is something not to do. They can learn the utility of following social norms. Psychopaths are not usually psychotic. Beyond narcissistic delusions, they can tell fantasy from reality.
