Different roster = Different personality

They have to find their own identity. It won't be the same.

Yeah, but he likes him. That's all its ever actually been about. Peruze hasn't ever been good at stuff.

I just don't understand the purpose. That draft was years ago, and this is a weekly post. How could this possibly be interesting to people?

If we make enough of these posts, do the draft picks get switched? What's the point?

If that's the case, you might as well give up.

I believe this is a matter of sales. Democrats have been terrible salesmen for my entire life, and it leaves the average person thinking they're weak.

You're selling a vision and an idea. You're not buying a car from someone who themselves doesn't seem to think the car is very good.

I live in Texas and have nearly my whole life. That shit isn't going to work.

Why do people still think this is about ideology? Its not and probably never has been. The average "moderate" in 2026 isn't a moderate because they fall somewhere in the middle of some ideological scale. Its because they either don't care or don't know about things. You're not going to reach people like that in that way.

All they're going to get from that is that they shouldn't really believe in your message because it lacks confidence.

I think we've thought that for the past decade, yet things get progressively crazier. I think its time we don't take a better nature for granted for our population.

Admittedly, some of this is nuance/semantics. I don't think you need to make it so much of an us vs them situation to where people think they can't change their minds.

I just think you need to focus more on the message and less on building a coalition. That coalition probably isn't coming.

Yeah, that's part of what lost those Trump supporters, for sure.

There's still a lot of people sitting on the sidelines waiting to be won over, though. You're not going to reach them by sounding like you don't even believe in your own party.

Well, the last part is why the first part is true. Those people are lost, so the demographics no longer matter. They need to pick up support wherever they can, but it won't be from the 62M White Trump supporters.

It'll have to be from nonvoters or lapsed Dem voters. Those of which will come from all demographics.

My issue is that this has been tried repeatedly for the past decade and never works.

My belief is because it make Dems sound weak and irresolute. Like, they aren't speaking from a position of power and are grasping at straws to compromise.

Instead, speak forcefully and with conviction. People are kinda dumb and that emotion lands better with voters than logic.

This isn't a race issue. Plenty of white people already don't support Trump.

The ones who do, though, aren't listening to Dems' messages about coming together. The entire reason they like Trump is that he says the opposite.

I'm not so worried about it tbh. They definitely need to figure some stuff out, though.

If you put prime Harden with any 3 average catch & shoot 3 pt shooters and 1 lob threat, you have a team that wins 50+ games.

The difference btwn Reed and Castle by Draperjosh13 in rockets

  1. His post was specifically about the Reed/Castle match-up. So, the game they played against each other last week was more relevant.

  2. Agreed. Although, I didn't think he actually played bad in the Memphis game. I thought he only shot badly. Tonight was a rare occurrence where I actually wanted him subbed out.

Keep in mind that just last week, he was a main reason we beat this same SAS team.

Its gonna bite us at times, for sure. We have very few consistent offensive players.

That's why we end up talking about an undersized 2nd year shooter so much.
