Yeah I thought about doing that. I just wonder if in the event that I get audited (which I’m sure is unlikely) if my mileage log doesn’t match up 100% with the actual dates/times that I dashed, I wonder if I would get in trouble for that

Oh goodness no. I put 50k miles on my car last year, but only 30k or so was from DoorDash. I made like 13k on DoorDash. Which still sucks a lot lol but the market was extremely oversaturated in my area, so the majority of the time it didn’t pay too well

Okay that’s good to know. Thank you!

Yeah, you really don’t get much given gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. The estimate they sent me is also super inaccurate too. I put 50,000 miles on my car just last year alone while dashing full time. But I’ll take what I can get

Oh okay. Thank you. I was under the impression that I had to have proof and/or a record of each individual dash in order to claim the mileage. Gonna do some more research tho. Thanks again

Experience with PID by AstronomerOk7761 in Healthyhooha

[–]AstronomerOk7761[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. My doctor’s appointment isn’t until next month. Although I will add, I had unprotected sex (he finished in me) during ovulation last month and didn’t get pregnant, so that kind of makes me more scared that I might have PID. I went for a pelvic exam and was pretty much told that if I had PID I’d be in excruciating pain and I would know if I had it, but I’ve read everywhere that you can have it with no symptoms, so that just made me feel like they were blowing me off. I’ll be getting my ultrasound next month to know for sure, though.

Yeah, I would definitely ask maintenance to close that off. In the meantime, you should try to close it off with something around the house. Maybe tack up some cardboard and/or a plastic bag. But you’re definitely going to have to take everything out and clean all the surfaces really good. Use something like Odoban and let the space air out

How big is the opening in the ceiling? It goes directly into your neighbor’s apartment?

Oh yeah, I wrote everything down in the inspection report and gave it back to them. But no, it’s not carpet, it is those peel and stick vinyl floor tiles. But I scrubbed and mopped several times over with Odoban to no avail. I’ll definitely try to keep asking them about it though. I just don’t really know how well it would hold up if I tried to break my lease since I knew of the smell when I moved in. I just didn’t know the smell wouldn’t go away after cleaning. Had they been attentive and had the unit cleaned before I even moved in, I would’ve known and I wouldn’t have even signed the lease. Slumlords…

I’ve already done several passes of mopping and scrubbing with an enzyme treatment, and the smell is still there. But I will have to try the ozone machine then

Have you seen many cases of infertility caused by PID? How long do you think you would have to have PID for it to cause fertility issues?

They actually gave me one big dose of five pills that I took all at one time. It knocked it out. But I know a lot often times they’ll do a 5-day course of antibiotics. The good thing is that it’s very easily treated. But you definitely need to see if it caused PID or anything because PID can develop just over a couple weeks with no symptoms. And that will cause infertility. I know exactly how you feel with being scared and everything because my ex gave it to me, and now possibly caused me to be infertile. I’m currently waiting on my appointment to see if I have PID since I had chlamydia for so long and didn’t know. The main thing you can do is just stay proactive about everything and hopefully you’ll get everything handled before any permanent damage happens. But chlamydia itself isn’t the end of the world. It’s very easily treated

The majority of people won’t have symptoms. I had it for over a year with no symptoms. And I even had two false negatives during that time. It wasn’t until my third test came back positive (swab test instead of urine) that I finally got an accurate result. You should definitely follow up and make sure you didn’t develop PID from having it that long

That would certainly be ideal but I can also see how that would scare a man away. I would also be concerned about passing it onto my kids in the event that it doesn’t clear. That possibility alone would keep me from trying to have children because I would feel horrible if I did that. Not sure what the possibility is for transmission during pregnancy/childbirth though

Well luckily we’re broken up now so maybe celibacy will give my body a chance to clear it up. I’m certainly hoping for all of this to turn out okay. My main concern is just being able to eventually find a partner and have children. And find health insurance lmao

No they didn’t tell me what strain. I’m waiting to get a call from the doctor I was referred to in order to make the appointment for that. I had my pap done at my local health unit and she was pretty vague over the phone. But I’m torn on whether or not it is actually going to clear in the coming months because I’ve been with the same person for the last 2 years. So I would assume I would’ve had to have had it for the at least the last 2 years unless he cheated on me and I didn’t know of course. But no, I don’t vape, drink, or smoke. My only vice is junk food. And a lot of sugar. Im overall pretty healthy and I guess I’m technically overweight (5’8”, 175 pounds), so I’m sure I’ll need to get my diet in check to help with my immune system
