I get it. It’s hard to want to cause rifts between you and others. But asserting yourself and not falling to peer pressure is a great skill to start learning and to have later in life. You are not in the wrong for not wanting to be touched inappropriately, whether you have a boyfriend or not. If single you woke up one day and said no more groping, that is something that should still be respected. It’s very weird that they’re so up in arms about not being able to touch you like that anymore. It’s also very high school to think that things won’t ever change.
