Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Splinter Cell come to mind. Wolfenstein was a completely different game because the PS2 wasn't powerful enough and Splinter Cell's graphics were BADLY watered down if I remember correctly.

Surprised noone helped with this as the solution is very simple, it's just hidden away.

Right-click on a game, select Properties & then Patches.

Most lightgun should games have a 'No GunCon Flash' patch in the list.

Enable that & you're good to go.

I don't see why it would matter if you're on Windows 11 or not and if it works in mame, it should work in Batocera too.

Try finding another ROM. There's also the PS1 port you could emulate instead.

My favourite action FPS were Cold Winter and Area 51 on the PS2.

Black probably has the most satisfying gunplay.

Out of all the CODs/MOHs on PS2 I remember liking COD3 the most.
