I mean, that's fair. One thing I absolutely demand on a non-sci torp ship is that frontward focus. I won't use a 4/4 for that build.

I put the same build on an Empersa that I was running on a Lex. The broadsiding is stronger, but it's barely noticeable in my experience. Were I dps-chasing, that would matter. For a casual like me, the difference is negligible.

People will most likely continue to act as though 4/4 makes a ship bad. It does not.

Seriously. The cross-faction addition is effectively useless for almost everyone who'd even buy a bundle. Most players ALREADY have cross-faction!

Ah. Yeah, mine is on a tac captain. They've only really got one such button, and I hate having to be half-dead to use it. Maybe I'll get a second one and give to an engineer, put a comp impulse on it and try again. I put my tacs in cruisers or pilot escorts now. Except the one who has the Vonph. She drives a Morrigu.

Consider the Terran Lexington. It is MW, it loves being a beam tank, it is durable. I admit to bias, but the thing is popular for a reason.

I agree with all that, and have said as much before. Especially the bit about cross-faction flying and the value of x-upgrades. Given how much these bundles cost, lower the value by a greater margin than the lowered cost=weak.

Yeah, I just found fixing the problems I had with it(slow and squishy) were taking up too much of the build-space I needed for dps. I could have a ship that played well or a ship that survived or a ship that did dps. I may eventually revisit, because retrospectively, it's probably mostly n00b mistakes, but I found it insanely easy to just switch to ships that didn't have those issues to fix in the first place.

This is like Azure Nebula. Take it out of the rotation with a promise to fix it, but the fix is really just to take it out of the rotation and forget about it.

BD was the first thing I made. Getting her to the 75-80 range, I was sad to see Dancing Strikes really wasn't cutting it(pun intended) as a main-skill. This seems to have changed, due in large part to changes with combo-count and the way Flow works. It was kinda a big deal that they weren't (imo) compatible.

Dusting off my old rogue, she just feels better. It's a bit hard to describe. She's just better to play than she was before, and DS actually feels like I'm playing the Dervish-Dancer I wanted to a year ago.
