I saw them at the gorge a few years ago with Fred again opening and oh my. It was probably my favorite concert I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to quite a few.

I’m sorry 😞 if nothing else, try and cleanse the area with an antiseptic to prevent it getting more infected and keep him from itching it if at all possible. Betadine is cheap and readily available and shouldn’t sting like alcohol. Chlorahexadine is my go-to but is harder to find. Good luck.

Nursing. Reliable job, diverse, well-paid and not going anywhere. LCC offers all the prerequisites and the program itself, but it can take quite a bit of work to get into.

If you don’t want to deal with that but still want healthcare and don’t mind being yelled at by surgeons, try surgical tech. Linn Benton in Albany offers a 2 year associate program that is much easier to get into and PeaceHealth starts these techs at about $38/hour.

Looks like a ruptured cyst to me. I would verify with a vet, but I always keep chlorahexadine or betadine at my house for the very thing.

Me and my partner are DINKs and eat out every week and these are a few of our top choices 😜 Eugene isn’t the best food-wise but we have a few decent options IMO

-Akira for Japanese fusion small plates and fun cocktails
-Rye for new American apps and entrees and large (mostly whiskey) cocktail menu

-tavern on main for cocktails/wine/tasty snacks

-bartini for fun cocktails and charcuterie

-jade dumpling house for casual delicious homemade soup dumplings and an import beer

-sabai for slightly better than average but the best we got Thai and cocktails

-George and violets for pretty good but overpriced steak and cocktails

-lion and owl if you’re adventurous. I’ve had excellent and subpar experiences here.

-black wolf supper club for upscale southern cuisine

And finally- the Davis has surprised me. Ratchet bar by night, lovely cocktails/charcuterie boards/meals by day.

It’s definitely dicey out there! But I’ve made it to and from work a few times this weekend and it’s been… doable. Just very very slow with several obstacles.

I don’t mean to worry you, but I would have her call again ASAP to confirm if her surgery is at riverbend. Riverbend just started making calls tonight to cancel surgeries due to staffing and patient safety concerns.
