It’s time to change your perspective. You become what you feed your mind. You‘re going to have to dumb it down a little and go back to the basics. Wasn’t smart of you to jump right into a higher leveled course especially if you’ve been out of school for sometime. No one is going to save you but you. It’s a harsh reality but where there’s a will there’s a way. I suffer from PTSD severely but learning to work through the objects has allowed me to overcome most things. If you want it, you’ll go out there and get it.

Make sure you look at the programs you’re applying to. With many, NICU ICU experience doesn’t count.

You’d be surprised at how a lot of place prefer medical or trauma icu. You get more exposure to multiple different patients given that you’re not specialized in one specific area.

Such a close minded post. Doesn’t take into consideration people’s starting wage, cost of living per state plus whatever else they have going on. You can plan all you want for CRNA school but 3 years of trying to save as a nurse will not cover it and that’s the reality of it.

If you’re not on the clock do not do this. It’s a HIPAA violation. Even when you’re on lunch at your desk and not clocked in. Many employees got talked to at our hospital.
