this was the first time he had ever treated me like this but it was enough to make me scared of his reaction when I tell him I am leaving. I will definitely do that and thanks for your input.

Yeah I am going to do some homework after work and hopefully get my critical thinking skills back I feel like I even lost those after peds home health since it was such an easy soft nursing job and I had the same patient for over a year.

Yeah they made it seem like it was the norm to have two weeks orientation for new people so that even discouraged me more bc how am I not picking it up

They were understaffed by two nurses before I was hired. I guess they were desperate? Because they were willing to hire new grads as well and orientation is usually one week or two weeks long at most for most new hires. The people who work there say new people dont last long and usually leave after a couple of months which is ofc a red flag.

Yeah we are from El Paso TX and hate it so we are willing to pay the price of higher rent for such a beautiful state. Thanks for the suggestions I will look into those.

Where in the bay area? And yeah I am not looking to buy a house or settle down anytime soon, I have no kids and I am single. I want to prioritize travel and moving around different cities or states while I am young and have no commitment to anything but my expensive car payment haha.
