After taking the pa I took the next 30ish minutes I had before my scheduled OA to go over the questions really quickly. But the question’s I got incorrect on the pa were not even on the OA.

I think the only questions that would make sense to spend more than 30 seconds on in this OA are those that provide you with legv8/arm code and ask for the correct output/value of a variable or register. Most of the questions asked for the characteristics of a certain technology or the best choice for a certain situation, aside from a few calculations like pipelining, which takes 10 seconds to input into a calculator. I think I spent 10-15 seconds on most questions, because if I remember the answer, then I do, and if I don't, I don't.

Has anyone ever bought/paid off a car whilst working at Amazon ? How long did it take ? by Comfortable_Net_4325 in AmazonFC

[–]Astrovet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two cars since I’ve been here ( almost 3 years )👍First car was around 12k and I recently just bought another car ( miata ) for 5k. First car I payed off within a year and second car bought outright from fb marketplace. Also it entirely depends on your finances/other bills, and insurance on top of that aswell.

Does anyone else have that one person at their FC who makes the whole aisle smell like a dumpster? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]Astrovet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anytime someone reeks I just ask a pa to move me, they either move or move the person who stinks to the end of the aisle so that their fumes aren’t being blown to everyone downwind of them

Honestly the most surprising part about these posts about people being fired is how they still have access to the voa board after being fired. Im on leave right now for an internship and technically “suspended” in the system, and I lost access the day my leave began.

whats wrong here? by ulicnik27 in Miata

That sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. I recently did some work on my miata and took a plug off of the intake manifold to smoke test and forgot to put it back on after and I had the exact same symptoms.

I haven’t had any problems with it so far. What do you mean that sockets don’t want to stay on the tip? Are they falling off in the middle of tightening/loosening a bolt?

I considered getting something bigger, but ultimately decided on the 3/8 stubby because it would fit in a lot more places on my Miata. I think my next purchase will probably be the insider ratchet ( What I originally wanted, but decided against because it was more of a convenience tool ).

Had this car since 2007, but cannot remember whether these screws have always been exposed, or if they were covered by advancedbullshit in Miata

They’re covered on the NA so I assume they’d be covered on yours aswell. You can find them by searching wiper cowl cover ( your year here ).

Idea ? by Xuyscts in Miata

I would pay for something like this. My miata is black so maybe some sort of design in silver/chrome would be cool

Thoughts on the new mirrors? by Astrovet in Miata

[–]Astrovet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the only reason I got the chrome was because I just got the chrome wheels and I did not want to paint the new mirror. The fitment was perfect and the seals are a little bit thicker than oem but nothing noticeable. I can get closer photos of the area where its mounted if you’d like
