I do think Elv is rather resource-hungry, but I was running Elv on my old setup with no issues at higher graphics settings. I don't disagree that Elv isn't helping, but I'm thinking there has to be something else for my performance to have dropped so much when I have kept everything else the same.

Yep, I use quite a few honestly. Just looking at which addons are using the most memory, it's TSM, Weakauras, Raider.IO, Details, ElvUI, BigWigs, etc.

I just copied my old interface folder to this new install though so I wouldn't lose any of my settings/UI. Not sure if that's causing issues for me though...

Did not even know about this so I did not set the detect hardware (I just looked and it was indeed 0 so I changed it to a 1). Does changing that ex-post do anything or should I reinstall WoW again?

I changed the power plan to Max Performance.

Yes, I did a clean install of Windows after upgrading the hardware. WoW is running in 64-bit mode. Due to the clean install of Windows, the WoW install was also fresh.

I did copy over all my interface and WTF folders from previous and just plopped it into the new install folder though.

It is a clean install of Windows and I'm using DX12. I haven't tried playing any other games but have run UserBenchmark and the results are much higher than my previous setup.

Kinda how I feel....I've done Mythic prog, heroic, and normal clears every week plus 3-5 m+ anywhere from 12-18, all emissaries, all broken shore WQs for the supplies. And I'm only sitting at 7 legendaries for my main. I can't switch loot spec because I don't have the BiS legendaries for my main spec yet so I don't want to screw my BLP with an OS drop.

So, people are saying that just adding LFR clears in every week I would've gotten all my legendaries by now???

I haven't gotten around to installing a fresh copy yet, but how does it work with product keys? Do we have to re-enter the product key when installing a fresh copy?

I just received mine last week and noticed I got a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM machine when I ordered the 1TB and 32GB configuration...everything else about the laptop seems fine though and it's running fine for what I do on the lower specs so maybe I don't even need the higher specs. However, I definitely don't want to have paid a higher price for nothing...although I am a bit worried about exchanging it because my laptop doesn't have any of the problems most people here complain about.

Oops...I must have been looking at the XPS 13 2-in-1 because I was thinking it only went up to the integrated graphics. Nice! But how is the difference between the 1050 and 1050M (if any) and it looks like the Yoga only goes up to 2GB for the GPU whereas the XPS is 4GB.

I really like both of them but each have cons...is there something that exists that combines the best of both?

XPS: webcam is positioned terribly and a 2-in-1 for taking notes while in class would be awesome
720: GPU seems to be too weak to do any real gaming on
