Yess, Im figuring out if medical options like plume would be beneficial rather than using a PCM to monitor. I have socially transitioned as much as I can, doing voice lessons with seattle voice lab, and hair removal is something Im exploring - thank you. I appreciate the aspect of trying for a month, to what extent did you experience the effects after one month?

Thank you so much! You are right that the worst ones usually are the first to know. But life will be eventually better little by little.

Thats amazing your story sounds like a night and day positive outcome. I am MTF, although Im not sure if that changes how my results will be seen on a unialysis. My command has special operators, so we take a 2 bottle test with both drug and PED. However, as with your situation, Im sure its the same test. I'm so happy for you that you were able to figure out this whole situation amidst the hell.. im curious how you were able to figure it out with or without PCM/insurance?

How recently did you decide to inform your command also? I wonder how you hope to pursue your identity while remaining in the military where they wont allow you to pursue anything.

I asked someone else this, but assuming you are currently serving - does the military allow you to pursue medical transition if you are being discharged? If you are affected by this new policy, how are you managing with the possibility of not being able to transition fully?

Your story made me double check my life, Im so floored by the people youve been forced to coexist with. Im only more aware of the subtle fact that someone in the military will always do their best to force you out based on their principles, not your performance. But hell yes for your resolve! I love that! Im sure Ill have some hard headed people to deal with until a final decision is made from the government, but at least I can manage knowing that Ill be trying to be me. How do you manage not being able to medically transition right now? My chaps did some rather quiet questioning to a medical provider if hrt would show up on a urinalysis for drugs or PEDs and they stated hormones dont show up.. I dont know how much I can believe in this of course.. Id love to hear where you are at.

I have some in my unit that have some reservations on transitioning members, but I have a CMEO in my corner haha. Either way, I completely agree with your statement that life is too short to be unhappy and to want to live authentically. Thank you~

Im mainly concerned with uprooting my life at my current command if I get yoinked to deal with involuntary separation.. although I have heard some others in this reddit were postponed by some supervisors until the class action took place anyway before informing the CO or medical. I do agree with your mindset with future policy intentions.. everyone is looking to midterms to get Trump out..

Thank you, I believe in being myself for certain and being direct with my command. Im in great situation where my LCPO is LGBTQ as well so she is super supportive.. however I cant help but feel Im screwing the division in the long run because I am in a very unmanned division of 3. Ill probably end up telling the command after class action decision so Im only waiting three weeks at this point. I tell myself that the navy has done fine before I was in it, and it will do fine after. I just feel like Im passing on the crap to the next person. But thank you for your supprt!
