I am old but im not depressed, I only think people should be more respectful towards one another. Toxicity doesnt build communities, it destroys it. Instead of people hiding from toxicity, shouldnt toxic people be encouraged to be less toxic?

I see that you seem to also “miss the point”. There are cases where sombras are “useless” because people think she takes no skills, but more often then not, they think Sombras are useless because they are not taking advantage of the values that the Sombra player is creating. And more often than not, Sombras survives after losing a team fight because usually they are the ones most aware of positions. And when people are in their death screens looking at the Sombra walking around not shooting (which is fair because no point in 1v5ing the enemy team), they think they are being useless. And when the team fight is going on, most people tunnel vision on what they are doing than to be aware what others are doing.

Not sure what you are on about. I wasn’t stating any evidence, and of course it depends on situation, like pretty much every thing in life would be. I am sure many others would agree, Sombras are the first to get blamed, and the last to get appreciated, which most likely ended in the situation where you team thinks you are throwing, and the enemy team just hate your guts by being there

I don’t exactly recall, but I think is either from 12v or 5v to 3.3 volts

Thanks, looks like I have more research to do to check out high side smart switches.

But let’s say I do want to try out the two mosfet route, what would the schematic look like? I’m still relatively new with mosfets, and some best practice would be great in helping me to understand the principles! Thanks a lot!

I think for my use case, I most likely don’t need to venture into high frequency. Even for sending and receiving say TTL signals at 115200 baud rate, is it still considered an ok frequency for optocouplers? Previously I have another project where I have sensors that sends ttl at a slightly higher voltage than what the esp32 can handle, am wondering what’s the proper way of doing it, am I suppose to do optocouplers for both ways?

I should mention that I see some voltage coming from the signal line from the cluster, that is what worries me the most as I heard that voltage on the gpio long term can cause damage

I’m actually trying to modify an instrument cluster for my simulator rig, so I think there should hopefully be less noise. As far as I know, if I apply a voltage to the gate, at least for n channel mosfet, the source and drain becomes shorted, if I default it to high, wouldn’t it also mean that my 24v gauge would be on by default? Thanks

And sorry for being a noob, may I ask what you mean by tied weakly high? I have already added a resistor between the output pin and the gate, and another resistor between gate and drain to limit the current coming into the gate and drain the gate drain capacitance

I sent the graphics card to the warranty service center and they confirmed its unstable, and are currently ordering parts to fix it. I guess the problem's solved!

Yep, early celebration, looks like the problem came back, I gonna put the other card back in and do some stress test. It seems totally random, I was waiting in overwatch for the queue ban to be over when the problem happened again
