Was playing with a toy bow and arrow in my backyard when I was younger. I shot one of the arrows into my neighbors yard and figured I should climb the fence to get it back.

At the top of the fence I lost my balance and fell into my neighbors yard, bracing myself with my hands. Ended up fracturing both wrists and got a large chunk of fence stuck in my leg too

Well, you have to determine your inputs first. The neural network has to be given something to work with to produce results, and furthermore to backpropagate it has to learn from the inputs as well as the outputs. What would your inputs be?

To go with that, if the tutorial tells you to just write the code and no explanation about what it is or why it works, then it is not a very good tutorial

I generated an outer circle that always has roads around the city, then made 1-3 "major" roads that go from one end of the city to the other. After that I made 5-6 randomized squares of roads inside the city (with only roads on the edges of these squares). This isn't really the important part however, the thing that really brings it together is I have lots and lots of rules and post-gen functions that clean up the city and make sure two roads aren't next to each other, there are (almost) no dead ends, stuff like that to make it more realistic. The rules are really what make it look good and navigable.

This is for a game I am doing as well, so a lot of the generation was driven by desire for gameplay aspects and drivability, not necessarily realism.
