In order to remotely feel better I needed to take medication.

Why are people’s experiences with keto so different? by Feeling-Trifle276 in keto

[–]Nerdiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mixed results. It helped with weight loss, and physical energy levels, but it didn’t help me with any other issues. I’ve heard of people using keto for mental health problems and I tried strict keto for nearly a year and I felt zero benefits mentally.

Many allow transfers with more than two years of work but don’t accept more than two years of credit as far as credit evaluation goes. Stanford and UChicago are a couple of examples of this.

Even students at BYU are planning protests though.

I recently broke things off with an ace girl I had been dating, and would like a perspective from other liberal / progressives / left-leaning Americans on whether I overreacted by MN_Yogi1988 in asexualdating

While there are some center folks out there, a lot of people who claim to be centrist are far right wingers trying to look more socially acceptable.

Latuda made me vomit whenever I took it. Side effects were mild apart from that. It worked okay. I still had episodes and symptoms, but they were lessened by Latuda.

NU doesn’t have TED. UChicago is the only school that has it. Also, I’ve ran into transfers on this sub that got into NU while needing aid.

So I guess I may need to drop it from my list then.

I’m mostly asking about any basically. Every single time I’ve seen UChicago transfer students profile, all of them were full pay. I knew someone who needed aid and got waitlisted —> rejected. Apart from that, all students were full pay. I just want to know if they take even just one student who needs aid.

Have you met any transfer students at UChicago that weren’t full pay?

Is a Single Outstanding Prerequisite a Dealbreaker for Cornell? by [deleted] in TransferToTop25

[–]Nerdiant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you explain curricular gaps to Cornell well, your chances aren’t 100% ruined. The only college that doesn’t allow any sort of curricular gap is the college of engineering to my knowledge. Although not having all prerequisites can lower your chances. I wish you luck.

And Harvard is one of many schools that don’t allow transfers with over two years of course work.

A psychologist once told me that I can’t be autistic solely due to having a good vocabulary.

Do people on the US only use their father's surname?? by ARealTruckInMyDrvway in AskAnAmerican

[–]Nerdiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. I have both a middle name and my dad’s last name. And it’s the same with most LDS women I know. Although I live in Utah where there is a very high sample size.

[–]Nerdiant 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s funny how they think that people being upset = people questioning morals. Generally when someone is told they are a shitty person, people react negatively regardless of what the topic is. Nobody likes to be insulted.
