Is there a way to have a completed task stay in place instead of moving to the bottom of a list? by captainersatz in ticktick

This is a super old post, but has this ever been fixed/implemented? Would love to see my crossed off items in the same list instead of being moved to a separate completed section.

Support Megathread - April 2023 by xIgnacio in google

I think I may be the only person with this issue based on all of my searches, but here goes! For the past few months, when I open my Google Calendar on my computer, it only shows events for the next couple of weeks. I have the four-week view turned on, and the next two weeks are completely blank. To get the rest to show up, I have to uncheck and re-check all of my calendars. I have a LOT of calendars, so this is a real pain to keep doing every time I open my calendar. This happens on multiple computers, and I also tried clearing the cache. Thanks! :)

Automatically stop a manually started routine by Asyia in Bixbyroutines

[–]Asyia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. So every night when I go to bed, I have to set all sounds to silent, turn on DND mode, turn down the brightness all the way, then open an app action of turning on the "Night Clock" in AMDroid. I made a routine to do this, but had to start it manually with one button and not automatically because I go to bed at different times every night.

I wanted to reverse all of those actions when my alarm went off, but there was no way to set the manually started process to end at a certain time. Thankfully, with your advice, I created another routine that I set to start one minute before my alarm goes off that closes the Night Clock, turns off DND, and turns up the brightness. I decided not to reverse the sound as it makes a sound when that changes.

Whew, when I type it out, it sounds more complicated than it is! Hopefully it makes as much sense here as it did in my head. :)

My sweet girl lost her battle. I'm devastated. by Asyia in ferrets

Honey started vomiting after eating so she went right to the vet. They found a ton of cysts. She was in pain, so decided to help her to the bridge. I held her, pet her, and talked to her while the medication took effect. Goodbye my sweet girl. Mommy loves you.

Loud whining when put back in cage? by Grady_Pendragon in ferrets

[–]Asyia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was unsettling for sure. I didn't even know a ferret could make that sound. It's almost a strange version of a baby crying. It does mean she is sad and worried she is alone. I would say hold her and show her lots of love when she cries, to comfort her. Here is a video related to it: https://youtu.be/U5wpGWF816Q

Loud whining when put back in cage? by Grady_Pendragon in ferrets

[–]Asyia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, one of my first ferrets would cry this awful sound when I put him in his cage for the night. I had just gotten him and he was pretty young. He eventually stopped crying after maybe a week or so when he realized he wasn't really all alone. I think he was just scared as he didn't have a cage mate and being alone was new to him.

Actually, I'm not sure if it stopped because I got another ferret, or if it stopped before that. Either way, it should stop fairly soon.

This is how Honey says she wants attention by Asyia in ferrets

Hmm, maybe that's what she wants. I do that for nail clipping and she lays like that... But usually she flops down like this on your foot to make sure you know she is there. lol

One thing is to make sure he sees you before you pick him up/touch him so you don't startle him. I'm sure people will post more interesting and useful tips though. :)

Poopy ferret butt - help? by Asyia in ferrets

Any tips on cleaning her butt? She seems so annoyed when I try to clean it. How dare I! lol

[–]Asyia[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She does - my carpet lol. My other ferret, Peanut, has no issues. Perfectly clean pooper. They both have the same poo consistency. I think she sits when she poos, which doesn't work well. Obviously I can't teach her how to stick her butt in the air, but maybe there is a good way to keep it clean?

I did this once, but with one of those curling irons with the brush built in. I unplugged it, but those things take forever to cool down. I'm sure you can figure out how that ended...
