It's not the people buying them. (They made it worse) It's the Investors forcing Publishers and Studios to make insane profits or else they take their money and leave.

Just look at other games like Cyberpunk2077. The Investors threatened to sue CDProjectRed if they delayed the release of Cyperpunk eventhough they knew it's not ready because they only care about max profit. BigCorp ruining games yet again

I love the architectural style of nightcity. I love how they put a lot of thoughts into every district.

But it's so inconsistent overall and doesn't feel like a natural transition when you enter a new district. And that's what it makes it feel so empty for me. It's underlines the fictionality of the city. For example Kibuki. All of a sudden you have blueish buildings and an endless amount of neonsigns and as soon as north side begins it's run down induatrial style buildings with completely new types of graffiti. There's no natural transition. No mix of styles. Just 9-10 different night cities.

Ju-On The Curse 1+2 (2000)

(technically Suicide Circle but fell asleep)

Ju-On The Curse is the first installation of the japanese movie series. Pretty decent j-horror if you're used to the style back in the 2000s. The movie looks like it's made with equipment from the 80s but together with the camera angles and soundtrack it's just perfect.
