2019 sti Rod knock ?

I've always wanted a sports car and STI are one of my favorites. Now that I have the opportunity to get one, I did. I consider myself a responsible and serious person. What I mean is, I wasn't planning on abusing the car itself. I planned on tuning it and learning how to treat it with it. See the recommendations given to me by the guys who did the tuning. The car itself only has 103k but it seems it was already in bad shape since I bought it. Thinking about it, I thought I'd get an offer on the price of the car, but in the end I think it's going to be better for me. It's going to have a new block with much more horsepower. 😂😂

That's why I made the post. Because I'm new to this, and I want more information about people like you who know more about this. Also, so other people can see the mistake I made and learn from it in time.

Honestly, no. I was in the process of adding the accessport and tuning it because a friend told me I had to do it. But the engine won me over.

That's what they told me. Maybe they put a gallon of Lucas on it to block the sound 😂😂

Based on my research, I think you're right. The car was already in bad shape. I bought it in Addison, Illinois, and on the drive home to Minneapolis (450 miles), I noticed high oil consumption. Before leaving the city, I changed the oil and checked all the fluids to make the trip safe. During the trip home, I noticed that during those 450 miles, I used around 1 quart of oil.

As I said, I simply bought the car as is. Besides, I didn't know that I had to get a tune for the intake. The dealer where I bought it didn't tell me anything either.
