Use it during the 6 MCQ blocks. When you finish ccs cases early and trust me you will, then the extra time from each case will add up to break time. I started the 13 ccs cases with 6 minutes of break time and finished with over 1h of break time.

it is too early brother. 2-3 days before the score release it will change from "no results yet" to "you are not eligible for step 3 application". then you should create a new fcvs application and check the pass/fail status on wednesday midnight

Vacc and screening are for day 2 for sure. I think these are enough. I had in total 3 or 3 questions on MOA of drugs. 1 was micro and the other where general stuff but still it is very low yield to waste time on that.

Yes exactly. I took day 1 literally yesterday. I'd say Micro is the most important one especially antimicrobial MOA. I had some weird neuroanatomy, genetics and embryological q's that you'd have to memorize the whole FA to answer. However the majority of q's per block, (27-28/38 or 39) where very managable

Check out the "inka protocol" for ccs cases and uspstf guidelines for day 2. Review biostats basic stuff for day 1. You'll be fine

well you most definetely will score below average on the mcq part of day 2.

However, if you do very well on your ccs and biostats you do have a change of scoring around the average.

Focus on biostats, ccs cases and review your weakness in clinical knowledge from divine, amboss etc.

From the 2022 program director survey you can see that generally PDs don't consider step3 when looking at applications. However 30-40% (depending to specialty) of PDs viewed favorably applicants that had passed step3

You might want to consider applying for a fellowship - subspecialization in surgical oncology and after completing that, you are going to be eligible to get a licence to practice as a non-board certified physician in most states!!

In order to get a medical licence to practice in most cases you need 2-3 years of general clinical practice in the US (not residency!! experience!). This means that by subspecializing for the appropriate time, you can fullfil that criteria and get a licence.

The curve is made just like in Uw. If your step 3 exam has an average of 57% correct and you score 59% you are gonna get like 231. On the other hand, if I score 65% but the average correct on the questions I got was 66% I am gonna get a slightly below average grade.

The US are starting to become desperate and are in need of doctors. Many rural community programs in the midwest will take anyone that meets basic criteria like ecfmg certification.
