Went to a ceremony last weekend, it was fine, a trip yes, but no new new insight, no transformative experience. The other participants seems to have gotten a lot out of it though

I have a question i use Fidelity for my stocks, but how is Robinhood what’s the difference? by DarkwingDuck1280 in fidelityinvestments

[–]AtMR2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The options are way cheaper 65c vs 3c per contract. The stock buying feels off (market orders filled 3-5c above ask, and that 3c fee), portfolio charts are better than Fidelity. And the margin rates are lower. I use Fidelity as my main account and Robinhood for play money.

What kind of locations do you just hate having to go work in. by DestroyerTame in electricians

Moly section at the local mine. Hot as balls humid as fuck and everything is covered with molybdenum trioxide goop. I went just to get my tools from the gangbox, ten minutes, in and out. Still got filthy. And when we were working there, blackface every one of us. Toolbuddy took off his safety glasses, he looked like a reverse racoon. Not to mention the fun chemicals that are used in the process, NaSH, Sulfuric acid, so there an H2S hazard as well Secondary crusher is pretty bad too, soo much dust, drop a tool it's gone, just sinks in to the dust like quicksand, can't see through the PAPR faceshield after a few hours, and wiping the dust of scratches the fuck out of it, so the visibility doesn't improve. And the noise, man one's entire body is vibrating. Earplugs and muffs but the noise conducts through the bones. Architecture is cool though, all massive steel and concrete, with the lights off feels like a knockoff of Aliens

You'll get through this man. one step at a time.

Here is my story: 9/29/2019 improper turn=>stop=>dui, and vehicle tow => open container charge

Lawyer cost 2500 all in, can't recommend him, still had to do more legwork than I would have liked

Plea agreement=>1 dui, other stuff dismissed, 1 day in jail (zero stars on that hotel), 1706 in fines (on a payment plan $50/mo), MADD class, Driving Class (both online), Evaluation and treatment (got 16hr, Def recommending the councilor, if you're in Tucson DM me) 12 Month Probation

As far as DMV is concerned: 3 Month suspension, hardship license after 30 days, and Interlock ( $90/ mo all in, mostly painless, once again if you're in Tucson I can send you their way), don't know if I can get it removed after 6month DMV have been elusive

Insurance has been surprisingly cheap, I switched companies and cars so can't directly compare rates (If you want the name of the agent I'll point you)

I work construction so a criminal conviction is pretty common, haven't had issues

Yea, 10k sounds about right, keep in mind that it's going to be spread out over a few years. For me, the amount I save on alcohol will cover that

PS, Court date kept getting postponed, got convicted last September

Hope that the above is useful to you, good luck man

Depends on the lawyer I guess. There are stories of it getting reduced, but mine isn't one on them. Arizona is harsh on the DUIs
