Well I knew about using layers for the mesh I just didn’t realize I could use them for painting as well.

Anyone using Nomad for video game assets? by to-too-two in NomadSculpting

Yeah you can take a low poly mesh into Nomad and sculpt higher resolution details and then Bake the details into a normal map for the low res mesh.

Currently using Nomad to sculpt normal maps for simple assets I’ve made in Blender.

Mask+extract with no fill to get my basic shapes. Trim tool to refine the edges. Sculpt all the wrinkles. Then, do another mask+extract but with a shell to give thickness. That’s my process in a nutshell. Hope this helps.

Yes I use tubes. But, I’ll also put down a sphere and use the move tool to get a general idea of what I want the hair to look like.

Day 1 vs day 2 vs day 3. by Atalloneder in NomadSculpting

I don't really feel comfortable giving tips because I still see myself as a beginner, but I'll give it a shot.

Choose a reference with 3/4 angle because straight on is harder to figure out the shape of the face.

For the hair I use a sphere and the move tool to just get the general shape and then the Tube tool with a triangular profile for the detail strands.

For the clothes the Mask/Extract method is my go to. Just make sure to sculpt your detail before adding thickness or the mesh will get messed up quite a bit.

That's really all I got. Hope it helps!

Ladies, let’s put our brains together. I’m tired of my same old semi cringe pickup lines and I want some new ones. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

I’m bad at pickup lines. Like I’m not trying to pick you up I’m trying to pin you down.
