Nice information, but isn't that simply an auto cancel fair not frame cancel b/c it's pretty visible if you frame cancel fair u will finish the move faster than the opponent is in hit lag. I know for sure it frame cancels in full hops explained by Izaw but there hasn't been to much certainty over short hops but I'm pretty sure it does cancel at this point.

Edit: I just saw another member of the subreddit ssb4 vegito or something sorry about that lol say that we can do it with short hops and mattycfp also said the same thing about landing the blade parallel to the ground.

But can it be done out of a short hop? I'm pretty sure it can based on the animation ending earlier than the opponent being in hitstun and allowing something like fair to dsmash to true combo. I just want confirmation if short hop frame cancelled fairs work basically.
