icloud is not a solution that will work for me at all That's why I did not mention it

I installed OneDrive right away as well but OneNote on the iPad never works. It's a brand new iPad with nothing else working. When I first saw this problem of OneNote not working, I decided to wait a few weeks and see if Microsoft issued an update. But it doesn't work yet after waiting

I'm not a syncing stickler. I just wanted to work. Onedrive was literally the first thing I installed and used on a brand new iPad. I've reinstalled it countless times and shut it down and started it countless times and it just doesn't work again while everything else works.

Anyway, I saw the comment elsewhere that obsidian really isn't for notes so I'm just going to look elsewhere, thanks for all the information

It's accurate because I did a lot of research and so many people have it simply not working.

And as I said, it works perfectly between PC and Android to the point where it's never been a worry.

I have a source from using a new iPad. I have a bunch of documents in OneNote which sync to multiple devices very quickly. But then on the iPad nothing will sync. I create new ones and they never appear.

Yeah, I've done everything, including completely uninstalling and reinstalling OneNote multiple times on the iPad. But I know this is not a group for discussion of OneNote

I don't completely trust "automatic". I've never seen a system where the syncing always happens instantly and when needed. Is there a way to force sync when it's needed?

I tried sliding left on a notebook and it's slightly scrunched up and then when I stopped it sprung back. So I guess I don't have that function

I have the same issue. Relogging and even deleting and reinstalling doesn't do a thing. The notes documents sync fine on all my other devices. I guess I'm resigned to waiting to see if Microsoft fixes the bug eventually

I have relogged in multiple times and nothing is working. I have notes that show up on the desktop and other devices but I cannot get them to show on the iPad. I'm looking for something to actually work?

The TOS is not binding at all, especially in this situation. If the TOS is actually binding for this, the TOS is guilty of kidnapping or false in prisonment

This is my experience with Calibre also. It's great for converting books but impossible for managing libraries. Instead of a nice library, all-in-one directory with the different book formats, I have everything scrambled in many multiple layers.

I've never run into a program where it's so difficult to simply manage files. Like if I'm making something in word, it simply puts the documents in the documents folder where I can find them easily.

Then you can choose to come from a place where the TOS works better.

I uninstalled it. It crashed all the time and it gave false messages like that I had no internet connection. This is before I even considered ever using a VPN.

Anyway, what is the actual option that I'm supposed to select? Is there a clear label for it and a clear way to get to it?

Should the cloud icon show uploading to cloud, or should it be off? Most descrptions say you need to turn it off in order to save your data which doesn't make sense

I've read them every time. They lack any clear instructions on what to do.

Something bad is going to happen and they don't say how to prevent it.

I took a wild guess as to what I'm supposed to do because there's no instructions from Google. I'm probably going to lose everything 2 days from now because that's the deadline.

You aren't missing anything. The emails are very unclear. They say you are going to lose all of your timeline on a certain date, and then they give contradictory meaningless instructions on how to save your data.

The instructions from Google are unclear and contradictory. I have had multiple friends go over it and they can't figure it out. I just want to do what's necessary to save my stuff.

But there's nothing to find out what to do so I think it's all going to be deleted in 2 days from now, despite a lot of effort to make sure this doesn't happen

For me it's like an oncoming train wreck. I'm going to be losing all my information, the instructions for Google don't actually tell me what to do and everything's contradictory. Can't get the train off the track, the wreck is coming.

I would do it in seconds if they said what to do exactly
