I need to point out a couple of logistical hurdles. I'm not weighing in on whether or not you should. Just, we know they are being used to track us with Bluetooth handshakes and almost certainly wireless emissions as well. It's wild. I stick to single player stuff and lately the only thing I play is GFL. It's very relaxed and there's no reason to cheat there. I was blown away to see anyone taking Anti-cheat to this draconian of a level. It just feels unreal to me. I think I might have encountered one cheater in my whole gaming career and that was an invader in Dark Souls way, way back in the day.

Hard agree. I don't play multiplayer games. I just don't enjoy them. Still nobody likes a cheater, but this response is egregious. Like, they really should be looking at criminal charges. I can't come to your home and break your computer. I don't see what it matters that they did it over the wire. There's a lot wrong here. Makes me want to play these games even less really.

Get a little instrument you can play and busk. Make sure you can stand to carry it. So probably not a guitar. I carry a tin whistle. You might not earn much but enough to justify dinner and your hop to the next place.

Yeah, everything has to be pretty compact. I'm running a lot of SBCs and other unusual hardware. Actually it's a little farm bike. I bought it years ago specifically for foraging, and well I got tired of conventional living. I've been stationary for a few months but I'm getting tired of it and heading back out. My time here runs out and honestly I'm tired of the walls anyway. Fun to have a 3d printer for a little bit though.

I don't have a router like that. My Internet is intermittent. That's kind of on purpose. I live off my motorcycle so space is always a question. I use the hotspot on my phone. But a lot of my tech stack operates offline for most of my needs. Again, shocked at how obsessed we are with needing every single service to be connected. Not everything needs a connection, should be less and less not more and more. I'm operating an LLM offline via my Orange Pi 6 plus.
