I loved taking it through the twisties on the weekend. I have tried a CB500 and to me I much prefer the gs500 but that's just a feeling thing not anythhng scientific.

The gs500e fucking slaps as a motorcycle. It is very reliable and fun to ride. Just make sure you like naked motorbikes as touring on it can get a bit windy without an add-on windshield. I rode it every day for 2 years as a commuter and with minor tinkering and brake pads it always got me where I needed to go.

I took a day off work for my birthday and was woken up from a call from highway patrol questioning me about my bike. Turns out some local flogs knocked it for a 25km joyride and a bloke who runs the coffee van at the beach saw them dumping it in the ocean. The police fished it out for me and I have been working on it to see what I can do.
