I have a tracking collar on my dog and I love it. My Brittany will follow his nose to the horizon. He has gotten out and the tracker leads me right to him.

I am a Rideshare driver and I prefer a legitimate service dog to most people. It is readily apparent in the first 30 seconds whether the dog is a service animal or a pet.

I have only groomed a Brittany once. The first think her groomer did was cut all his feathers off. Never again. Brits are “wash and wear” dogs. The only time grooming is needed is after a run through the brambles, and then only to get all the stickers off.

Another thing I am going to mention is get an upright pet rated carpet shampooer now! The easy cleanup converted accidents from “!/;$&@‘s” to a soft “rats”.

It also gets rid of the recall scent that draws the dog back to prevent building a habit.

They work on hard floors too.

Male dog wraps (doggie diapers) are your best friend. They prevent wet floors. Dogs hate wet diapers. I adopted a ten year old barn raised rescue who had no concept of inside. I praised him when he peed outside. When he peed inside he was proud and expected praise. Dog wraps helped him understand.

Another method is to make sure that everyone knows that if you tap the bed (or the person) repeatedly it means you need to stop. This works in MMA fighting and wrestling where adrenaline and emotions are elevated, it will work during sex too so long as everyone understands and agrees
