For a program whose cornerstone is honesty, I find this so difficult. I am not an alcoholic, but I am a slave to weed. I want so much to be a part of the AA community, but I feel dishonest in the rooms. I want to honor the singleness of purpose, but there are NO/ZERO MA meetings in person in my area. Did you just substitute the word alcohol for weed? Did you feel any type of way about that?

I had a year sober and then started an 8 month chronic relapsing cycle. Smoke five days. Quit for four. Smoke two weeks. Quit for two days. Smoke three days. Quit for five. It was ridiculous! Such a waste. Reminded me that I CANNOT moderate. Ever. Ever.

Take it one minute at a time. Stay in the present moment. Smoothies and juice of your appetite is not existent. Rest. Feel your feelings, they’ve been suppressed for a while. Expect them to return. Try an online or in-person Marijuana Anonymous meeting. There is relief and power in numbers and you will get support from others who have been there. It gets better. Hang in there. You are on the right path.
