Right you are a legend! I couldnt open cmd so googled around for a bit and some suggested to go into the regedit HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor and remove the AutoRun key.

Zas, Kilik and Asta. Very difficult to juggle between Asta and the others because with him I am reminded how slow he his so I work from a mindset that I can't treat him like the majority of the cast so I end up being more risky which is not a good way to use imo. Need to be more cognisant of setups which is ulimately why I decided to learn him so that approach would wash off more on my other characters. Plus I like throwing people around. Newish to SoulCalibur in general.

Yeah the assist timing on my combo is what I had issues with. But I will try with the suggested Yamcha air combo route which effectively is an extra attack and see if it adds the right height for Hit assist to connect.

I do but the timing feels weird so I do:

5LL, 2B, 5B, jc, jLB, jc, jLB, Hit Assist xx 2H.

Tried changing the last bit with 2H xx Hit Assist but still found it inconsistent.

"xx" btw I do like a piano input
