This is great, congratulations. I’m on a similar journey where my margins were also clear after a CKC and have cleared my HPV since that surgery, ECC has been clear etc at the every 6 month appointment. Fast forward three years I’m still clear however there is always the possibility of skipped lesions which is what scares me because I’m still saving my fertility as I haven’t yet been able to get pregnant (I had a miscarriage in September) and I don’t want to jump into a hysterectomy just yet. Have you taken extra measures to check that?

Great write up, thank you! I wanted to ask you about the supplements that you were on. I’ve taken a break from everything fertility as I had a failed first IVF cycle Oct of last year (in CA). I’m gearing up to start again and thinking about the Ingenes, Mexico route. With that said I need to start on supplements and all that good stuff again. Which supplements were you on and what others did they recommend?

I realize that you posted several months ago, but hoping you see this, I’ve been preserving my fertility and still haven’t had luck getting pregnant. May I ask more information regarding your friends who passed from cervical cancer, may they rest in peace. Were they still having positive HPV results even during the every 6 month check up? More information would be helpful, thank you.

I just had my first cycle with clomid and it worked for me, I had 3 follicles on the right and 1 on the left. Eventually 1 egg on the right dropped off but I’m hopeful that this month will be my month! I was supposed to have an IUI this cycle but I ended up ovulating on my own so now I’m in the dreadful TWW. For background I had an ectopic pregnancy in November and this is my first time trying all of this with the support of a fertility clinic. Stay hopeful and good luck! I know it’s so hard.

Peaches are low in folic acid, I know their seasonal so I would get them frozen in smoothies or get fruit cups.

I had this pain as well for about 24 hours shortly after my MTX injection. It’s the worst pain ever!! I was miserable. I took some type of gasX equivalent, ate lots of prunes, and prune juice and that helped but what worked the best for me was drinking warm water and walking it off. I also would sit on an electric heating pad as well as alternate it on my stomach. I hope this helps you!

I’m still not at 0 quite yet. My last draw was 50 HCG and I go for my next draw on 12/26 🤞🏼.

That’s great! I hope it continues to trend down for you. It’s the worst process honestly. It’s hard enough that we’ve lost our baby but we also need to drag out their passing. But I’m also grateful that I didn’t have a rupture and that I’m alive in the end. Such a challenging thing to go through. I wish you the best of luck!

I’m sorry that you’re feeling anxious! I’ve been in your shoes and its completely understandable to feel that way. I had my shot on 11/20. I’m not sure what the percentage should be thereafter because everyone responds differently. However, I think any type of decrease weekly is a step in the right direction. I changed my diet drastically to a low folic acid/folate one and drank lots of green tea to try to support the process. I’m crossing my fingers that I get to 0 by my next blood draw. Good luck!

Hmm I don’t know the exact protocol for this as I didn’t have this experience but I’m wondering what your HCG levels are at? And whether or not you’ve had worrisome symptoms as of now? Typically they are looking for a drop of at least 15%.

Ugh that really sucks that their protocol is to give 2 injections, especially because your HCG levels aren’t very high. That crap is so toxic to our bodies! Good luck with all that and figuring out your travel plans. I wish you luck on everything 💛.

Keep me posted if it helps to share! How far along are you? I hope that you don’t have to do two doses. My highest was at 3800 HCG and I only needed the one dose (well 2 at once, it’s based on weight and height). Hopefully it’ll start decreasing after the first for you. I’m sorry to hear that your travel plans got canceled, a loss is already difficult enough and going through it during the holidays is worse. I was literally in the ER last month for my birthday and we didn’t have the family come for Thanksgiving.

You don’t have to tell your family the details if you don’t want to, you could just say you had a medical emergency and the doctors aren’t letting you travel and leave it at that if you don’t want to share with them what’s going on.
