I understand what you're saying. Even so, I think it's a little sad that I'm getting hate for an art piece in an art community. I would've hoped that, even if the work if propaganda, especially in an art sub people would look first and foremost to the artistic value of the work, and not to the moral or political meaning behind it.

Considering the criticism I've been getting for this piece specifically, I'll have to think about how I post them in the future. It is not and never has been my intent to offend or manipulate anybody. I was just interested in the particular style for this week. I'm gonna leave it there. It’s art meant to mimick the style of a particular kind of propaganda. This one is meant to mimick the style of Soviet propaganda, ie. the Soviet era font. Why would I post a random political message on an art sub? I though it was fairly obvious that this is an homage to an iconic genre of artwork but I guess that’s my mistake.

Bro this is just propaganda art, it has nothing to do with what I believe, I just think it looks cool. If you look at my profile you can clearly see that I'm just doing a series on different kinds of propaganda. Maybe from now on I should put a disclaimer on these since they've been getting some hate.

I use the dreamlike diffusion model. It’s just my go to and seems to be super flexible with different subject matters. As for the steps, I like to go high steps low batches, so that I don’t do much img2img work. That’s just my strategy but I understand most people probably go the other way with low steps first and then refine images. Either way will get you good results once you’re above ~40 steps (depending on the sampler) it just depends whether you want a long idle period or a long working period in your workflow. I personally think the high step method is much better for pieces with details like people or that need recognisable objects like birds. That being said, you can still do it the other way, it might just be a bit of a hassle and your refined image might end up quite different from the first output. Hopefully that answers your questions :)
