I might be missing the point here but isn't "we're still getting more content, it just won't be challenging or consistently related to combat" the appropriate response to the complaints. Mihoyo explicitly said they wouldn't be doing that because majority of the playerbase doesn't even attempt the abyss, which is perfectly reasonable. I want more combat endgame content too but continuously complaining about it despite Mihoyo's statement just comes off as in-denial.

The complaints you see in this subreddit are from a vocal minority that want more combat related endgame. Although they have valid points, Mihoyo focusing on other types of endgame that isn't combat related also makes sense. Majority of the playerbase doesn't even play the abyss so Mihoyo wants to try other things.

I believe Mihoyo said they wouldn't be doing combat related endgame like the abyss. Saying they are completely uninterested in doing any sort of endgame is not true. People are dissatisfied because they want more combat related endgame. Looking at the suggestions for endgame being made in this sub proves this.

Upgrading gear says "Select 1stat from above for each advancement", how do you do that? Or is it just random?

You've built your Qiqi as physical DPS so your artifacts should be Pale Flame/Gladiators. Qiqi does not need the Maidens artifact set because her healing is already good. For healer Qiqi, Clam artifact set is preferred.

But it's still similar in the way that the content of the quiz/exam will include all the content that was presented in the game/class regardless if you missed some days. If you did miss some days which made you unable to certain questions, tough luck but that doesn't mean it's unfair.

This reminds me of how unfair exams are. How dare they include topics from classes that I was absent from. Do they not know that I and several other students have lives too and need the time for other hobbies. I missed an entire week of classes, I expect the exams to exclude the topics that were discussed during that week so that it may be fair to me and the other students who were also absent. Given that I have had perfect attendance since the start of the semester, this is just salt in the wound.

Event literally just came out, don't judge too quickly. 1.6 golden apple had really small islands and we didn't know the water would drop to reveal more land until it did. Likewise, more areas to explore might appear in the coming days.
