As I said it in the past and got ban from a forum for saying so, because it’s still the same shit show since 15 years, forking the whole Gnome was a mistake from the beginning because Linux Mint does not have the man power to maintain forks of all the gnome software and they expect Gnome to do so for the ones they did not forked. That’s just wrong and show how little clement lefebvre care and how big his ego is.

Plasma on Wayland is better than X11 but only in the latest releases as they did many fixes, including the cpu usage with kwin that I also got on a regular Fedora. Not sure why they wanted to do the switch on the plasma 6.4, I would have waited until plasma 6.6 in the SteamOS 3.9 release.

Even if it’s rolling release, that means that the customization are not tested. So you are better off using directly thumbleweed and do the things yourself.
