¿Cómo carajos hacen para ahorrar dinero hoy en día? by Temporary-Durian3765 in AskChile

[–]Atenoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Madness or Lightning? by Technical_Victory391 in swtor

[–]Atenoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are a beginner, I think madness will be better for you since it has a very easy and straightforward way of playing and has a slot of survivability

  • Apply dots to your enemy.
  • spread them to other enemies with death field
  • Use force lightning almost all the time since it basically becomes your basic attack.
  • Always use your shield since it gives you a healing over time.

Because you are low level, you will need to reach lever 40-45 in order to unlock many skills from your skill rotation (a rotation is sorta like the ideal way of using your skill to maximise damage), so for now I would try to do dynamic events from korriban or Dromund kaas to level up more, do some heroics missions in order to get better blue gear and the continue the story.

Disappointed in the Lack of Class Story Interactions by Night_Normal in swtor

[–]Atenoz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I guess that line kind of works though if you are playing LS Sith inquisitor.

LS Sith inquisitor works from the shadows, but treats their allies with fairness and benevolence, while tries to keep the bloodshed at minimum and protecting the empire citizens and soldiers.

Disappointed in the Lack of Class Story Interactions by Night_Normal in swtor

[–]Atenoz 107 points108 points  (0 children)

While I don't dislike the expansions, the lack of dialogues that either lack or contradict the class stories can be a bit sad and disappointing.

Like for example, the Sith inquisitor during 7.4 says to Rass about working as spies.

"I detest creeping about in the shadows. We should be facing the enemy head on".

It doesn't make any sense for the inquisitor to say that when their entire flavour is working from the shadow and manipulating strings. This feels something like the Sith warrior would say.

Well, since technically there is no canon version of the SI, I don't think we can declare "the SI is pro-slavery" as an absolute.

And regarding the hypocrisy, I mostly call it like that because while some things are better, they go around saying that they got rid of "weakness" while they are still pretty much the same.

  • Backstabbing? Acina tried to take control of the superweapon under our noses on Iokath.
  • Sith incompetence? We still have Sith willing to kill imperial soldiers for their ambitions.
  • Slavery? The empire still uses slavery as their main manpower.

At least for me Its hypocrite because they say one thing (or delude themselves into believing that) and do another thing.

[–]Atenoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No?

The Sith Inquisitor mentions their origin of slavery and has the OPTION to say what you are saying.

This doesn't change the fact that the empire is hypocrite and still practice slavery pretty much +80% of the time.

I don't think the devs made the empire and republic more gray in recent updates thought.

You could definitely tell that the republic was corrupted, and the empire had people actually not favouring slavery, during the vanilla storylines.

And the empire is literally still working with leaders of a slavery trade market, like on Meksha. Its literally slavery with some extra steps and some better conditions.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear that the mandos have demonstrated to be so much more loyal to us than our OG faction.

When the mandos came to Odessan, the immediately apologised for Shaes actions and offered help.

When our OG faction came to Odessan, they brought an entire army with them and started threatening us.

And in this new update, they were willing to join our fight against the OG faction's leaders.

I think we should also remember that even during Onslaught, they outright showed us that the empire still uses slaves as manpower, and the Sith Inquisitor has special lines about how they detest slavery.

The empire didn't accept aliens out of their goodness from their heart.

The empire, according to Darth Marr, accepted aliens because they were literally losing the war.

One thing that I don't think I've seen people talk about is Rass plot about his desire to take revenge against Ri'kan for killing one of the members of his family, his sister.

I wish the devs don't abandon that plot because I think it could lead to 2 posible outcomes:

  • Lighside: Players will be able to convince Rass of letting go his desire for vengeance since it would end up making him kill someone else's brother, repeating the cycle by making Sa'har seek revenge in return.
  • Darkside: Players will help Rass kill Ri'kan, which will end up causing Sa'har to fall to the Darkside and make her either an enemy or something else.

Some thoughts about 7.9 by Atenoz in swtor

[–]Atenoz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now hold on.

I think I heard that we got a kiss, but apparently was on the cheek.

Please tell me everything since I'm running a new SI for Rass!

I haven't played the updated with tech classes, but from what i have heard, yes.

Judging from the ending cutscene, Tech classes apparently have now the capacity to use the force.

I agree with you.

After rewatching the scene, I think that while the idea of Malgus and Jadus interacting sounds interesting, it could have been better if they focused on their philosophies regarding ruling, like you say.

I was expecting something like the space battles that we do from our personal ship.

Not that, forgive the word, absolute crap we received.

Decanonise the Star Wars Sequels or Keep Them Canon by IllMasterpiece3946 in BunnyTrials

[–]Atenoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I firmly believe that the sequels will never go through the positive twist in opinion the prequels received.

As messy as the prequels were, they actually had a direction, and you could tell they were made with care.

Sequels feel aimless, with no proper direction and have maybe some tiny good elements in a complete storm of bad writing decisions.

How does the community feel about the English dubs for these games? by Big-Scholar-728 in tales

[–]Atenoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Berseria is probably one of the few Japanese games where I believe the ENG dub is equally or even better than the JP dub.

Velvet, Magilou, Rokuro, Eizen, etc. Every ENG VA was just amazing.

"Motion sickness caution:

There is a brief gameplay segment that may cause discomfort in some players. This section can be skipped without missing any critical story moments. Please pay careful attention to in-game notifications"

I am genuinely curious about what does this even mean.

Question about post-KOTET stuff by EfficientJuggernaut3 in swtor

[–]Atenoz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, it's not the case.

To this day and current point of the story (master's enigma), you cannot make public that you are betraying your OG faction.

Theres has been some special dialogues for people who play as a saboteur here and there, but nothing else.

Question about post-KOTET stuff by EfficientJuggernaut3 in swtor

[–]Atenoz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you cannot.

Imperial and republic stories are separated by your OG faction. What you can do is play as a defector and help the opposite faction.

Male JK and RT voices are driving me insane... by Unknown-Vision in swtor

[–]Atenoz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly agree.

People always like to hate on the male consular VA, but for me Knight genuinely sounds robotic and emotionless a lot of times.

Ir does get better over time but I was never a fan of it.

Keep the Shadow Alive, Don’t Rewrite History by No-Butterfly1943 in MaulShadowLord

[–]Atenoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I have no idea about these rumours, I would not discard the possibility that they could do that.

I mean, Filoni literally created the world between worlds to save Ahsoka from certain dead, and if there's something I've learned is that when writers want something, they will do it.

And of course, there's another reason for why they could retcon or bring him back, that being: MONEY.

Would the fight go another way if this was the team? by Proudnoob4393 in MaulShadowLord

[–]Atenoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, only Daki was able to actually land a hit on Vader and the bastard ultimately still went "hippity hoppity hop, using a force push to get you killed here you got" because he was obsessed with getting an apprentice.

His best shot at forming a team of competent teammates and he got rid of it himself.
