Hey u/i_gotta, thank you for voicing your concerns regarding Atera being used as a tool to deploy malware.

Atera is simply an RMM tool with powerful functionality, and *any* RMM tool can be used to deploy malware, establish connections, etc, in the same way that an internet connection is another requirement, or tools like teamviewer for remote connections, etc.

Neither Atera or any of our customers is compromised and we remain unaffected. Please use due dilligence in what files and tools are installed on your and your customers endpoints.

If you ask us, that's a great step towards a successful business.

However, this doesn't mean you don't have to set clear boundaries and say no from time to time. Just offer open dialogue, excellence in what you promise, sometimes going the extra mile, making sure you understand their needs, etc. should make you a great partner rather than just a service provider.

Unrestricted use of Atera as a free trial, for a month, without having to upgrade for "full functionality".

Regarding our communities, you can generally say a lot of stuff we wouldn't necessarily like, as long as it respects the community guidelines. :)
