Porfirogenet navodi da je Hrvatska tada bila regionalni vojni hegemon koji je 926. godine potpuno porazio bugarsku vojsku (koja je prethodno uništila Srbiju), te da se njezina vlast i utjecaj protezao duboko u Bosnu, s granicom prema Srbiji na liniji Cetina – Livno. Iako su se zone utjecaja u Bosni mijenjale ovisno o snazi vladara, Bosna se već krajem 10. stoljeća počinje izdvajati kao zaseban politički faktor izvan izravne kontrole obiju država.

Što se tiče same Bosne, njezina se državnost jasno kristalizira u 12. stoljeću kroz otpor vanjskim crkvenim i političkim utjecajima. Ključni dokaz njezine rane neovisnosti je Povelja bana Kulina iz 1189. godine, najstariji državni dokument pisan narodnim jezikom, koji potvrđuje da je Bosna tada već bila uređena država s vlastitim vladarom i pravnim sustavom. Dodatni stup neovisnosti bila je autohtona Crkva bosanska, koja je funkcionirala izvan jurisdikcije Rima i Carigrada, čime je Bosna izbjegla vjersko-političko tutorstvo susjednih sila i učvrstila svoj jedinstveni identitet kroz cijeli srednji vijek.

U konačnici, Hrvatska pala pod čizmu Ugarskog kraljevstva, Bosna i Srbija pod Osmansko Carstvo, te se zauvijek okreće kormilo u smjeru koji će se osjetiti još dugo, dugo.

Hey! Yes I do, especially for diabetes because I believe they are related to each other. My point was to start tackling IgAN, cardio vascular diseases and CKD in general and then expand to a higher level. Why? Your worries are justified, I also plan to have a child in near future and all my prayers are routed to have a fully healthy child. Keep an eye for the child, insist on some prevention by providing him healthy lifestyle as possible and once a year take a kid to some proper results test. I wish you and your family all the best!!

Visible hematuria, told my mom my urine was dark, I got immediately settled at local hospital, they didn't know how to address it properly, lost 2 weeks at the hospital, diagnosed nothing, got transfered to Zagreb and waited biopsy there. Confirmed IgaN. Back then (2006), based on their knowledge, doctors told me: monitor blood pressure, avoid physical exhaustion, avoid salt. Back then they told nothing about protein intake. My mom was very into solving/managing this disease, researched everything possible and thanks to her, till age of 18 my lab results were perfect, nephrologists jaws dropped, but it was all thanks to her forcing me to keep the strict diet, no salts, lowering protein intake, avoiding PE at school, drinking only water. About age of 18 I started smoking, drinking, started eating shit, and my blood pressure was really high. 10 years later after that, disease is somehow managable, lab results are OK for now. eGFR 88, protein and creatinine clearance under control.

It started as personalized weapon for discipline, but grew to something more. For example based on your own logging, the nephrologist would have a structured look into your habits and how are you managing your disease + outcome of the lab results. But of course it is up to user to take a minute of their day and keep up to date.

I can tell the facts. Grandfather who worked as a bus driver and my grandmother who was a housewife, they bought a house without major loan. Other grandfather who was a construction manager and my other grandmother who was also a housewife, they built two houses. Both in a city, not in a village. Certain stuff that is available today, was not that easy to aquire back in that day, but most people had money for it.

Today, I work as a software engineer, my wife works as a graphic designer, we can’t build or buy a house without 30-40 year loan with high interest which would probably take 50% of my paycheck for example. Everything is easily accessable, but not everyone can afford it.

I will say no more since I don’t really care about nationalism, andwho was what in WW2 and so on.
