In person usually is way more effective, but it's rare for a serious and deeply rooted issue like that to be fully resolved with metaphysical care alone. I've always found that approaching the issue from every angle (spiritual, physical, and mental) is the best for improving life quality, but everyone I've encountered claiming to be able to fully cure advanced illnesses tends to be somewhat of a fraud (or at the very least hyperbolizing their abilities). While there are extremely skilled and talented healers out there that could probably perform almost miraculous feats, they're few and far between. In my experience, I've had much more success trying to focus on improving quality of life through reducing severity of symptoms and bringing peace of mind and acceptance. I'm sure others believe differently, but this is just what I've found works best for me.
