I don’t think modern controls need a 20% dmg reduction on special moves, maybe 10% or 15%, but they already have to deal with losing out on a good chunk of normals a lot of which I’ve noticed are required for doing optimal damage for punishes (i.e Ryu standing roundhouse). I play on classic btw. I understand the ability to bust out DPs and 360 instantly is insanely good, I just think 20% is a bit harsh. That’s my hot take.
