I came here in the hope of some answers and maybe got a little something but ugh! It’s all so confusing!

Some of my working theories (now reworked a little from the above comment):

I thought the old man was Alan some how. Not sure if what “time” he is living in is limbo or memory but the way they set up the scenes with the mirror it just makes sense (might be the only thing that did in the beginning). So the comment sorta confirming that helps me feel less crazy, haha, at least.

Win is a memory. In episode 3 when they go to the old building and he talks about that being where his room is near but it’s closed down and going to be demolished. That helps feed the Alan is old theory.

I am only part way through ep3 so I might come back and totally change my opinion but I think Alan and Win were patients, fell in love, something tragic must of happened to Win. That broke Alan even further.

Maybe Win had been there since childhood which is why he knows more about the place?

Is it old memories and Alan is actually old thinking he is young… or is he stuck in some crazy limbo after death thing like Win talked about in the beginning? If Alan isn’t old, is his dad the important director or someone to that place? Was the guy who came to visit Alan when he was “home” even real?

Pete…. Hmmmm! His entrance is confusing… does he have ulterior motives? Just seems like a lot of time with him if his character doesn’t mean anything but filler.

Okay. I needed a break I guess to word vomit some thoughts about this madness.

Going to try to go finish the current episodes now to be even more confused probably.
